We Optimise Your Production

Together with our production site in Neuss, we offer development and design as well as production and assembly from a single source.
Since 1969, we have been working successfully for renowned companies in the mechanical engineering, plant engineering and vehicle construction sectors as well as many other areas.

Every project starts with new challenges. Our passion is to tackle them and develop the best solution for the customer, drawing on our many years of experience.

Planning Phase

The first step is to determine the requirements of your project. This is followed by the creation of drafts and construction plans, whereby safety and environmental aspects must be taken into account. The project phases are defined and a time and cost plan is drawn up. Effective communication within the team and with you is crucial.

Regular monitoring and adjustment of the project plan is also important in order to identify and solve problems at an early stage. Successful project planning ensures that the project is completed on time and within budget and that the end product meets the customer's expectations.

Construction Phase

The (technical) planning of construction includes the implementation of designs and concepts into technically feasible solutions. All relevant technical aspects such as material selection, load-bearing capacity, stability and functionality are taken into account. First, the design plans are converted into detailed drawings and models, whereby possible weak points and problems are also identified at an early stage. This is followed by the selection of the required materials, parts and components and the creation of production and assembly plans.

Technical planning is an iterative process that requires continuous reviews and adjustments to ensure optimal implementation. Successful technical planning ensures that the design meets the requirements, functions safely and reliably and can be manufactured efficiently in production.

Simulation Phase

A simulation of a technical construction makes it possible to virtually test the behaviour of the construction under different load conditions. Computer models are used to examine the physical properties and behaviour of the design under simulated conditions. Weak points and problems can be identified and rectified at an early stage before the design goes into production. The simulation also makes it possible to optimise the design by adapting materials and geometries.

Simulation can be used in all areas of design, such as rail construction, aviation or the automotive industry. A successful simulation ensures that the design functions safely and reliably, meets the requirements and can be manufactured efficiently in production.

Manufacturing

In addition to the actual design, GFI Engineering also offers turnkey systems. The components and ultimately the complete devices are manufactured at our production site in Neuss. We also have a large network of manufacturing partners throughout Europe. The localisation of production ensures customer proximity and short delivery routes. The companies are certified by us in advance. During the production process, our project managers are always on-site to ensure efficient production progress and the manufacture of high-quality products. New manufacturing processes such as 3D printing are also not new to us and are used extensively in the production of prototypes.

Successful technical production ensures that our designs are of the highest quality and accurate to plan.

Commissioning

Commissioning requires extensive planning and preparation to ensure that the process is carried out effectively and safely. Successful technical commissioning ensures that the system works as expected and meets your requirements.
