GFI Engineering was founded in Düsseldorf in 1969 and can look back on many decades of experience since then. The engineering services company founded there only changed its headquarters in 2021 and is now based in nearby Neuss.
The team at the Neuss site can contribute its expertise primarily in development projects for the rail vehicle industry and special machine construction. The main areas of expertise include
Development and construction of vehicle cabins and interior fittings for rail vehicles (local and long-distance transportation)
Supply of equipment for the production of Car body components
Development and design for welding fixtures
Welding fixtures for steel and aluminum shells
The CAD design is implemented at the customer's request. The CAD tools Creo Parametric and CATIA V5 are currently in use.
GFI also offers customer training courses on the use of Creo Parametric CAD software at its Neuss site. The training courses are tailored directly to the customer based on industry-specific design guidelines, specific project plans (data transfer from Creo to SAP) or customer-specific documentation.
